Initially I started blogging in WordPress under the same title. Then one day I ‘found’ blogger and started using it.I maintained the wordpress blog like a back up so that in case I lost anything on blogger I could pick it up from WordPress.

I used to import blogger posts in wordpress whenever I remembered to make a backup, sometimes it would be the same day, sometimes after a couple of months. So many times when I imported the post, some failed to appear in wordpress.Yet I continue this backup process till date…

Then this year[In the first week of Jan] I got a mail from WordPress team about how my WordPress blog fared in 2010 and I was truly impressed at their work!

Here is the copy of what I got….

The stats helper monkeys at WordPress.com mulled over how this blog did in 2010, and here’s a high level summary of its overall blog health:

Healthy blog!

This is a nice idea isn’t it!I wish blogger too does something like this so that we have something to ‘show off’ at the end of the year….

Bon Appetit…

  1. Nice to know that people are actually looking at your blog and recipes.
The blogger doesn't produce something like word press but if click on Design and then Stats, you can find out who is looking at your blog and which recipes.

  2. I really like wordpress. When I started blogging, I started off at blogger and with in 2 months I switched to wordpress. Love it! The only drawback is you cannot put ads on wordpress.com blogs, which are free.
