Vikram Oberoi is found dead in his penthouse. A few hours ago, his involvement in a sex scandal in NexGen Technologies made headlines across the world. Who is behind the sinister conspiracy that destroyed Vikram Oberoi, the philandering India Head of NexGen? Rivals within and outside the firm? One of his many jilted lovers or the miffed wife? A mysterious conspirator laying out honey traps to sabotage his plans? Or, is it the ghost of a sinful past that continues to haunt the Oberois?

The Sinners is a fast-paced thriller with a shocking twist that unravels against the backdrop of corporate warfare, illicit relationships and ruthless seduction games.

Vikram Oberoi is found dead and the reason for it is what the story is all about. The story is the flashback of his life and all that he has done.

Vikram is a womanizer and keeps changing girls. His latest victim is Sonal and though she knows about his character, she falls in love with him. Vikram is keener on chasing woman that he fails in his part of bringing up the company to a new level. The company loses a couple of good deals to their competitors and Vikram wonders how the information from his company has leaked out. And then comes a jolt from the blue, the climax, which was totally unexpected.

The plot has a lot of twists and turns and keeps you on the edge on the seat till the end. I finished this book in one go as I wanted to find out who the black sheep was and how or what led to Vikram’s death.

The chapters are short and it doesn’t get boring anywhere in between. The simple language makes it a quick read. The plot is well laid out and I was not able to guess the ending at all!

Do pick it up if you are into thrillers and suspense filled novels.
