This is one of Lil Angel’s favorite lunch box dish.Apart from rice, she also likes this chapathi. It is very easy to prepare when you are rush in the morning to get the lil one ready and pack the lunch while doing loads of other works as well.

This tastes great on its own but also goes well with a simple dhal.

You need:

Whole wheat flour- 1 cup
Salt to taste
Amul Cheese Cubes- 2 , grated
Chaat masala – to taste

1.In a bowl, combine flour and salt and knead to a smooth dough.

2.Mix the cheese and chaat masala

3.Pinch a small piece of the dough and roll out. Place the cheese filling in the center.

4.Bring the sides together and flatten it.

5. Roll it out into small chapathis

6.Cook on a heated griddle till brown spots appear on the side in contact with the griddle.

7.Flip it over and cook till the other side has brown spots.Drizzle a little ghee / oil if needed.

Repeat for the remaining dough. Pack in the lunch box with a simple dhal or cut into wedges before packing…..

This recipe is for Srivalli’s Kid’s delight event that I am guest hosting this month with the theme Healthy lunch box recipes….

Bon Appetit…

  1. Hey just asking… Can we add cheese slices instead of cubes along with oregano into the parantha as well? Although your recipe is also awesome! Thanks for sharing
