The classic one pot meal made with millets! It is healthy and an absolute comfort food!
Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add mustard, cumin seeds, chana dal and urad dal and saute .
Once the mustard pops,add curry leaves, red chili,peanuts. Saute for a minute and add the shallots.
After a minute add the mixed vegetables and tamarind extract.
Add sambar power, turmeric powder,salt and mix well. Then and the tomato and water.
Put in them millet and the dal,mix and bring to a boil.
Cover and pressure cook for 4-5 whistles / till done. Once the pressure releases, remove the lid, give it a stir and serve.
