Paratha with a fried gram dal and spices filling that is not only delicious but filling too!
Take wheat flour, salt in a bowl and mix well.Add water little by little and knead to a smooth non stick dough by adding a little oil at the knead. Knead and keep aside.
For the filling take sattu, green chili, onion, ginger, garlic,coriander leaves, ajwain, kalonji,salt,pickle oil, oil in a bowl and mix well. Add little water and mix into a dough.
Pinch out a golf sized ball of dough and flatten it. Place a portion /small ball of the sattu mixture and bring the edges together.
Flatten it and roll out into 4" circle. Cook on a heated griddle till brown spots appear on both side. Remove from griddle and repeat for the remaining dough.
Serve with a side of your choice.
