Ragi Peanut Ladoo Recipe

 A quick and easy healthy dessert with Finger millet flour,peanuts and cane sugar

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Ragi Flour
  • 1/2 cup Roasted unsalted Peanuts
  • 1/8 cup Unrefined cane sugar Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Ghee
  • 8 numbers Cashewnuts

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a small pan and add the cashews.Fry till golden brown. Remove from ghee and reserve the remaining ghee. Break the cahews into small pieces and keep aside.

  2. Roast the ragi flour on low flame till the raw smell disappears. Let it cool.

  3. In a mixie jar, take peanuts, ragi flour and cane sugar and grind to a powder.

  4. Immediately transfer it onto a plate and put in the cashew bits and the reserved ghee used to fry it. Take a fistful of this mixture and shape into balls.

  5. Store in an air tight container or enjoy these ladoos immediately!

Recipe Notes

  • Make the ladoos as soon as you powder the mixture, The slight heat from grinding it will help hold the shape of the ladoo.
  • You can add a few teaspoons of melted ghee / milk if you are not able to shape the ladoo.
  • You can adjust the sugar quantity to suit your taste.
