Buttermilk Popsicle Recipe

A fun way to drink buttermilk!!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Thick curd / Yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1" piece Ginger
  • 1 number Green chili
  • A few Mint leaves
  • A few Curry leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon Asafoetida powder

Instructions

  1. Take mint, curry leaves, cumin seeds, green chili, ginger in a mixie jar. Grind it into a paste and add a little water if needed. Strain the extract and keep aside.

  2. Take yogurt in a bowl and whisk well. Add the extract as needed, salt and asafoetida powder and whisk to blend.

  3. Pour into Popsicle moulds and cover and freeze tills set.Before serving, show the moulds under water , leave for a minute and slowly pull out the popsicle.

  4. Enjoy the delicious Buttermilk Popsicle

Recipe Notes

  • Use yogurt / Curd that is fresh and thick.
  • You can also add coriander leaves.
  • Play around with the herbs and spices to make other flavors of this popsicle.
