Sprouted Moong Sundal

A simple and nutritious snack for festive times / for the snack box

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sprouted moong
  • 1 teaspoon Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Channa dal
  • 1/2 teaspoon Urad dal
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 number Red chili, broken
  • A few Curry leaves
  • 2 tablespoons Grated coconut
  • Salt - to taste

Instructions

  1. Take the Sprouted Green gram / Moong in a vessel .Add enough water and cook for 1 whistle. The sprouts cook very fast!Drain and discard the water.

  2. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard, cumin, channa dal,urad dal, red chilies, curry leaves.

  3. Once the mustard pops and the dal turns brown, add the sprouts , salt, grated coconut. Mix gently and remove from heat
