Eggless Chocolate Chip Pancake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Flaxseed meal
  • 1/8 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Oil
  • Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Take all the dry ingredients except chocolate chips in a bowl and whisk well

  2. Add milk and combine gently. Do not over mix.Set aside for 15 minutes

  3. Gently mix once again and add oil, chocolate chips and combine gently

  4. Heat a griddle and pour 1/4 cup of the batter .Do not spread the batter though.

  5. Cover and cook on low flame. Once the bubbles turn dry, flip it over and cook for a few seconds. Remove from the griddle and serve.

  6. Repeat with the remaining batter.

Recipe Notes

  • I have used whole wheat flour. You can also make this with APF / Maida
  • I added a few mango and strawberry flavored chocolate chips too the batter.You can skip it and add the regular chocolate chips.
  • You can add a tablespoon of cocoa powder to the dry mixture to get chocolate pancakes.
  • Mashed banana can also be added to this mixture.
  • The number of pancakes will depend on the quantity of batter used for each pancake.
