Sweet Sundal

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Cowpea / Kaaramani
  • 4 teaspoons Powdered Jaggery
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger powder
  • 2 tablespoons Grated coconut

Instructions

  1. Dry roast the cowpeas till brown spots appear. Take it in a vessel and add enough water to cook it. Pressure cook it for 4 whistles / till done. It should not get mushy.

  2. Drain and discard the water used to cook it. Transfer to a bowl. While it is still hot, add grated / powdered jaggery , ginger powder and grated coconut.Mix well
  3. Sweet Sundal is ready!
