Ragi Flakes, Dry Fruit & Nuts Ladoo Recipe

A quick and healthy ladoo / Energy ball recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Ragi Flakes
  • 1 tablespoon Flax Seeds
  • 1/4 cup Dates,chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Poppy seeds
  • 3 tablespoons Chopped mixed nuts
  • 2 tablespoons Ghee

Instructions

  1. Roast the ragi flakes till crispy[without using oil].Do this on low flame as it will burn easily. Once done, transfer onto a tray.

  2. Once it has cooled down, transfer the ragi flakes into a mixie jar and add flax seeds, dates.Pulse a few times.

  3. Transfer into a bowl and add sesame seeds,poppy seeds,chopped nuts [cashew, pistachio,almonds].Give it a mix. Add a little ghee and shape into balls.

  4. Serve / store in an air tight container.

Recipe Notes

  • Alter the ingredients to suit your taste
  • Add nuts that you prefer.
  • Figs, raisins or any dried fruits can also be used along with dates.
