Ragi Flakes, Dry Fruit & Nuts Ladoo Recipe with step by step pictures.

April means exams! But for us, it means Mega Marathon time!! Yay!!

If you had read my previous post, you would have seen that I have opted for whole grains as the theme for this marathon.

And…..from the huge list of whole grains, I have chosen Millets!! Yes, there is going to be a flood of millet recipes throughout this month as I want to add more to my millet recipe collection.

I always like to start an event with a sweet/ dessert and here is the first post in this series – Ragi Flakes, Dry Fruit & Nuts Ladoo Recipe

I don’t know when or how it happened, but I have fallen in love with ladoos. Not the traditional ones but the easy breezy ladoos that are healthy and also use minimal ingredients. Check out these simple ladoo recipes to see what I am talking about.

To add another one [or more ] to that list, I used up the ingredients that were sitting in the pantry for a long time. I got a packet of ragi flakes  but then used very little and had almost 3/4 of the pack remaining. So I made this ladoo and 2 other dishes, all of which will be featured here this month.

This dish uses ragi flakes, dates, raisins, flax seeds and nuts. I have not used any sweetener in this ladoo. It tasted so good and even the kids liked it!
