The school reopened this week and we are back to adding more combos to this series.


This is the lunch that the kids suggested and I made this combo for their lunch box today. As you must be aware by now, I prefer to make quick yet healthy lunch box recipes and this one gets done quite fast.

In the Lunch Box

For the Recipe for Soya Chunks Fry,

  • Follow this link to prepare Soya chunks for the recipe
  • To the squeezed-out soya chunks, add a little corn flour, salt, chili powder, grated ginger, and garlic to ginger garlic paste. Mix well and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry these marinated chunks till crisp.
  • Let it cool and pack it in the box.

After frying you can do a taste test and add more chili powder and salt if needed. Chaat masala gives a nice twist to the dish.

You can also try this coconut rice with Sweet corn sundal for the lunch box.
