Jamun fruit is in season now and as with the past summer, I included this fruit in some of the recipes like this Jamun fruit lassi and we also enjoyed it as such.

Jamun fruit or Java Plum or Nagapazham has numerous health benefits and can be eaten as such or used in recipes. I have made everything from raita, smoothies, juice, popsicle, and puddings.

This summer was sweltering and more than food liquids were preferred and enjoyed. This lassi was a bonus to our lassi repertoire.
