When you need a spicy and flavorful side for a simple main dish, then this Chilli Garlic Paneer Recipe is the perfect one.


This has been a family favorite for a long time now and is very easy to make, takes less time to prepare and goes well into packed lunches as well. In all ways, this is a win-win recipe.

Step by Step method to prepare Chilli Garlic Paneer Recipe

In a mixie jar, take a red chilli[adjust to taste], galic cloves and ginger. Grind using a little water.

In a pan heat oil and add cumin seeds. After a few seconds, add finely chopped onion and saute till onion is translucent.

Add salt and the ground mixture. Mix well and cook for a minute. Add the cubed panner

Mix gently and add Kashmiri chili powder. Cook on sim for a minute or two, stirring gently. Add coriander leaves, and give a gentle mix and remove from heat.

Serve with a main of your choice.

Note:

  • You can also use Homemade Schezwan sauce in step 1. You can make this ahead and use as needed.
  • This dish goes well with Ghee rice / Jeera Pulao / Chapathi / Roti etc.
  • You can use spring onions instead of coriander.
  • Sprinkle a little toasted sesame seeds at the end that slight crunch.
