Sunflower Seed Ladoo|Engery Balls Recipe

A quick to prepare ladoo / energy balls that can be made in less than 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Sunflower Seeds
  • 1/4 cup Roasted Channa Dal / Potukkadalai
  • 1/4 cup Powdered Jaggery
  • A Large Pinch Salt
  • Finely chopped Pistachio for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Roast the sunflower seeds till it changes color lightly and becomes aromatic.Let it cool for a few minutes

  2. In a blender / mixie jar, take roasted channa dal, roasted sunflower seeds, powdered jaggery and salt.

  3. Powder well

  4. Transfer to a bowl and shape into balls when the mixture is still warm

  5. Serve garnished with finely chopped pistachio

Recipe Notes

  • You can use roasted peanuts instead of roasted channa dal
  • Adjust the quantity of jaggery to suit your taste
  • If you are not able to shape into ladoos, add a little ghee / warm milk little by little and shape again.
  • The ladoo will hold its shape as it cools.
