In a bowl take rice flour, urad dal, red chili powder, salt, cumin seeds and mix well.
Add the melted butter and mix
Add water little by litter and to make a pliable dought that is too too wet/sticky/dry.
Heat oil for deep frying.
Take a murukku press and put in either a tenguzhal plate[one with just the holes] or the one with the star

Take a portion of the dough and press out the murukku into the hot oil or on a greased ladle and slip it gently the hot oil
Keep the oil in medium flame and fry the murukku in batches
Once the murukku turns golden brown, remove from the oil.
Store in an airtight container after it cools completely
