This simple raw plantain stir fry is the third dish in Blogging Marathon # 74, Week 1, Day 3, with the theme quick and easy stir fries.
Generally when I pick up raw plantain , I make balekaye upperi [chips] .Then one day I decided to make a curry with it.Mom makes a kind of mashed curry[podimas] or a grated stir fry.I did not prepare either of those but instead I made this very simple curry .It has a hint of ginger and I used Idli milagai podi to add flavor and texture to the stir fry.
It goes well with rasam rice / curd rice.
