Pomegranate Lassi Recipe with step by step pictures
Around here, it is supposed to rain cats and dogs [according to the meteorological department]. But while it has been so in other parts of our state, we are experiencing a dry spell here.
It has been sunny and hot for the past couple of days and this has given me enough reasons to load the washing machine several times and dry out all the sheets and other cloths.
While it is sunny, we might as well enjoy a cooling beverage made with pomegranate and thick yogurt.
I am a huge fan of anything that has yogurt and this made me fall in love with it because of the cute pink color.
Step by step method to prepare Pomegranate Lassi Recipe
Blend the pomegranate arils and extract the juice. Pass it through a sieve and discard the seed-y portion. Take the juice in a blender jar.
Add thick, fresh yogurt, honey to taste and blend till frothy. Pour into serving glasses and garnish with mint leaves, top with a few pomegranate arils.
Enjoy the delicious beverage!
Note
- You can add any flavoring of your choice like rose essence / cardamom etc
- Use fresh , thick chilled yogurt for a tastier drink
A cooling drink made with Pomegranate Arils and yogurt
- 1 cup Pomegranate Arils
- 1/2 cup Thinck, fresh Yogurt
- Honey to taste
- Mint leaves and a few arils to garnish
