This Instant Mixed Millet Dosa Recipe is one of the first dish that I made for this edition of Mega Marathon. I have chosen whole grains – Millets as the theme and as soon as I finalized this one, I wanted to do some breakfast dishes and this dosa is one of them.

I have used 3 varieties of millet – Varagu, Samai and Thinai [Kodo millet , little millet and foxtail millet]. You can use any millet you have at hand.

I have powdered and used them in this dish. If the powdered millet is available, you can use that too.

Here is how to prepareĀ Instant Mixed Millet Dosa Recipe

Take 1/2 cup each of kodo millet, little millet and fox tail millet in a mixie jar and grind to a powder. Now add 1/2 cup White rawa and grind once more.

Transfer this into a bowl and add salt, chopped onions, cumin seeds and chopped curry leaves. Mix well and add water little by little and make a watery batter similar to rava dosa batter.

Heat a griddle and pour just like rava dosa. There should be a good number of holes in the dosa. Once both the side are cooked, remove from griddle and serve.[Be sure to wait till it is fully cooked before flipping]

We had this with Idli milagai podi, tomato onion chutney and coriander peanut chutney.
