Chow chow or Chayote squash is one of my favorite vegetable. I often make this simple Chow Chow Palya |Chayote Squash Stir-fry Recipe when I am in no mood to make a fancy curry. Since the kids too like this vegetable, there will be no complaits at the table.

This curry is made so often yet has never found a place on this blog.So last week, I made sure to click pics and post it up here.

This vegetable can be used in sambar, curries, kootu etc.A few days back I posted a Chow Chow payasa / kheer recipe. Until I tasted it, I couldn’t believe / accept that this vegetable can be used in a dessert!
