What does destiny mean in the course of our lives? What is fixed and what can change? How can we design our own destiny?

These are questions that some of the world’s greatest philosophers have asked since time immemorial. In this groundbreaking book, Daaji addresses such questions with simple solutions and practical wisdom. He leads us on to the next stage of the journey after The Heartfulness Way, guiding us on how to use the Heartfulness practices to refine our lifestyle and design our destiny, including our destiny in the afterlife. He elaborates on the subject of consciousness, the role of evolution, and explains what happens to us at the time of birth and death—and how we can act in those pivotal moments when life takes a turn.

Daaji inspires us to believe in ourselves and find a way forward, no matter what the challenge, and look at even the most difficult situation as an opportunity to grow. He emphasises that, with a few simple practices, a heart full of enthusiasm and an expanded consciousness, we can all discover our potential and the destiny we were born to fulfil.

Most of the times when things work our one way or don’t go the way we want,we blame it on destiny! And many times we feel that we should be able to rule destiny or at least get it to work according to our wishes!

Well, this book does just that! As the title suggests, Designing Destiny book by Daaji explains the facets of the inner self to shape destiny the way you want it!! Interesting isn’t it!

At first I was a bit skeptical and then went on to read it at intervals. Since this is not the genre I would readily pick up, I did not want to forcefully read it for the sake of completing it.

The book is divided into 4 parts.

Part 1 is the introduction and talks about destiny, fate and free will, how to start and what steps to follow

Part 2 is Practice which talks about the why’s, how’s / methods. There are notes on relaxation, cleaning[letting go of the past], Prayer, Attitude, Meditation, Yoga and neuroscience and guidance.

Part 3 is Lifestyle which deals with transforming yourself and transforming your relationships

Part 4 talks about destiny, meaning of experience, evolution, destiny and vibration

The book ends with a glossary.

There a some tables and like sketches in the book. Tables as points for things like relaxation, cleaning, meditation etc. The sketches for things liek the 3 bodies, 4 subtle bodies,13 chakras, radiation experiments with moong dal etc.

In this book, the author gives us insights and guides us through the various aspects of life thereby helping us design our destiny!

There are a lot of tips that are really helpful and we can even go back to certain sections of the book when needed to read and understand it better. Some of his points are given a scientific backup / explanation and that makes it all the more reliable and wants us to try them out too.

Another thing that I found interesting is that it is not based on any particular sect / religion. It talks more of the inner self and the inner being that focusing on the outside stuffs.

The language is simple and easy to follow. There are references from Bagavat Gita and even a tiny tale from Mulla Nasaruddin! Simple day to day experiences and events are used to put across a point which really does the work effectively!!

Yes,go for it! A very different genre but an interesting one!

My dad was the first to start reading this book and he felt I may not like it.But on reading it , I found it to be informative and also thought provoking!

Since this genre is not something I read quite often, I found that reading it part by part made more sense than reading it off like a novel.

Definitely a good one!
