I jumped at the opportunity and decided to make it.

I had to use up the jackfuit arils and then I also got the chance to try out recipes with this fruit.I made a simple jackfruit milkshake and then this kheer.

This payasam is very simple and gets done fast.I made a huge batch and shared it with the people who gave me this fruit!

  1. Good to see you back PJ !
Moong Daal kheer is really unique and adding jackfruit is interesting . I am sure the kheer must have been a delicious treat , although I feel jackfruit is an acquired taste .

  2. Wow! PJ! Welcome back to BM. You have made a very delicious comeback. I have tried the vegan version with jack fruit but this one with moong dal adds a special punch to this already delicious kheer.

  3. What a combination PJ, moong dal and jackfruit. Sounds really interesting. Never heard of this combo. Will have to try it next season. It looks yummy.
