Raitas need not always be ‘ savory’..Here is a ‘sweety-salty-savory’ raita..
You need:
Thick curd – 1 cup
Banana -1, sliced
Salt to taste
Seasoning:
Musatard-1 teaspoon
Jeera-1 teaspoon
Urad dhal-1/2 teaspoon
Red chillies -1 or 2 broken inot bits
Curry leaves – a few
Oil-1 .5 teaspoons
- Beat the cured with salt.
- Put in the banana slices.
- Heat oil and put in the seasonings.
- When they splutter and the dhal turns brown,pour over the raita.
- Mix well and serve.
If u want it sweeter add a teaspoon of sugar…

Very interesting raitha with bananas. This is the eating bananna right not the plantain.
