It was fun doing this wonderful challenge-Foodie Read 2014! If this you are hearing this for the first time, here is what this challenge is all about.
If
you are new to a food/reading challenge, you may be wondering – what is
a “food book”? A food book is a book which is centered around food
and/or drinks. That could be a cookbook, a food biography or memoir, a
non-fiction book focused around a specific food, wine, chef or
restaurant, or a fictional story in which food plays a major role.
When I signed up for it, I was sure I would be able to post the committed number of reviews but sadly, I had to do a rush up post to complete the challenge. I am planning on joining this challenge again and choosing a higher target as well.
I chose the Sous Chef level -[9-13 books] and here are the books that were a part of the challenge.
- 1000 Indian recipe cookbook
- Desi Subziyan – Indian Curries by Sanjeev Kapoor
- Potato – Alex Barker with Sally Mansfield
- Vegetarian soups and salads – Asha Khatau
- Making Craft Beer at home
- A compilation post with the books Earthbound, 100 Coffee recipes , 100 Bread recipes ,Potato
