It’s time to enter into reading challenges for 2016. I have joined 5 reading challenges and you can find the list on my book blog – Me and My Bookshelf. I wanted to round off the number to an even one by doing one more challenge that the foodie in me loves- The Foodies Read challenge 2016.
This year it is hosted by Heather at Based On a True Story.
A foodie Read can be any book, cookbook or novels , that revolves around food and food forms the major part of the plot.
There are levels to choose from like
Short-Order Cook: 1 to 3 books
Pastry Chef: 4 to 8 books
Sous-Chef: 9 to 13 books
Chef de Cuisine: 14 to 18
Cordon-Bleu Chef: More than 19
This time, I am not going to be ambitious and bite off more that I can chew. So I am taking up Sous-chef [9-13 books] which seems workable for me as I need to post one review per month.
I have almost stopped buying cookbooks these days. The ones that I do buy are the those with a very attractive price tag or something that I wanted to own since long.So I will be reviewing the ones that are already present in my library.
If you find this challenge interesting, sign up here and join the fun….
Thanks for joining!
I have joined too! Looking forward to all the reading and then writing about it
Thrilled to join in the fray, and can't wait!
