I love yogurt based dishes and raita is my weakness! I try to make as many varieties as possible since Lil Angel has taken a liking to raita!
This one does not have vegetables and is made with crunchy sev. It can be served with vegetable pulao / briyani and such heavy dishes filled with vegetables and a light side is preferred.
Here is how we make this simple raita.
Whisk curd with Kala namak[Black salt], amchur powder[dry mango powder],chili powder. Just before serving add serve mix gently and serve topped with a little sev, a sprinkle of red chili powder and a spring of mint.
Note:
- Mix Sev just before serving.
- Tastes best when served chill.So whisk the curd with the spices and let it sit in the fridge till serving time. Then add sev and serve.
