That reminds me of my childhood….this was one of my favorite dishes. Actually I had most dishes with sugar and ghee…works well for kids and adults alike. Yum yum!
Such a kid friendly paratha , as a kid my brother was fond of these and I have developed my taste now for sweet ones . The garnish with tutti fruity is a feather to the cap .
I have no doubts that your kids considered this as the best paratha. Even I would have said the same. As a child, wherever I didn’t like something that was cooked that day, used to request mom to make cheeni ka paratha. Same is the case with my daughter now
When we were kids, we used to slather chapathis with ghee and sprinkle sugar, roll it and eat. Looking at these parathas, I am reminded of those carefree days. I can understand why kids voted for this as the best paratha..
This cheeni paratha makes me nostalgic, cant say how much i love this parathas, makes me super happy to see my favourite parathas virtually through you. Well done PJ.
Same pinch PJ. My little one loved it and wanted to learn making this and she started her roti making lessons with this one. So it is close to my heart,
My kids love the sweet paratha and so do I. I am so tempted to eat some now after seeing yours. 7 flatbread in one day….wow!
I didn’t know such a paratha existed…usually I would make more rotis, smear ghee and sprinkle sugar and roll it up… Love the idea of making sugar filled parathas.
I am sure this cheeni paratha tasted awesome. I love these with milk. Lovely share. I liked your chur chur paratha.
This obviously would have been so good PJ, even though I am not so fond of sweet, I would’ve loved it too..lovely choice for the alphabet!
A kid loving paratha, I remember my cousins loved the roti with sugar and ghee. But this is more good as you have cooked it with that. A good snack option.
I love chinni ka paratha.. its mine childhood fav food for any time hunger.
