A few days ago, we tried the Gujarati Dal for ICC from the book Sukham Ayu: Cooking at Home with Ayurvedic Insights (Gourmand Winner – Best Health & Nutrition Cookbook in the World – Second Place) as the challenge for Feb 2011 . Srivalli who is the founder of ICC, mentioned about a surprise once we posted our recipes.
Later we found out that the surprise was the Sukham Ayu book to one luncky winner!!!Even in my wildest dreams I did not expect to win.Then one day Srivalli sent me a mail to check her post. I was thrilled and I really had no words to express my joy.
Yes, I won!!!!!
Pratibha and Jigyasa contacted me immediately and today I received my copy of the book autographed by the authors themselves.

This is one book that I will treasure for ever :).This book has a lot of recipes with my favorite ingredients and now I have a lot of ways to use the kokum I got for the Gujarati dal .
I really look forward to cooking more Ayurvedic recipes from the book and I will definitely be sharing them on my blog.
