Arisi paruppu sadham is a rice and lentil based one pot meal from the kongunad region in tamil nadu.
It is delicious and also packed with proteins and makes a quick meal and an easy to pack dish for the lunch box as well.
This is my third post for blogging marathon #79, week 2, day 3, with the theme kids lunch box dishes.
In the lunch box
Yogurt
Crisps
Note:
- I pack yogurt as such in winter and in summer i pack a mix of luke-warm milk and a tablespoon of yogurt mixed together. By lunch time, the yogurt is set and will be fresh to taste.
- I pack the lunch in stainless steel boxes. This plastic box is for the picture only ๐
