It was just a couple of years ago that I got converted into a Bisi Bele Bhath hater to become someone who loves to make it at home for any occasion! Yes, I stuck out like a sore thumb at functions and festivals when I used refuse the dish when it was being served. Then I became a total convert!! You can read about it on this post.


So, a couple of days back everyone at home felt like it had been ages since we made this dish and so it was cooked and relished with gusto!

The bisi bele bhath was paired with raita. Since this dish is a bit heavy on the tummy, the other items on the menu were simple. Like this cumin – pepper rasam / jeerige Menasu saaru , which aids in digestion
