Bangalore Style Spicy Peanuts Recipe with step by step pictures
The humble peanut is the star ingredient of the week in this September mega marathon themed Protein rich dishes. As mentioned in the intro post, I am featuring one protein rich ingredient a week.
My first choice was peanuts and there are already quite a few recipes with peanuts on the blog and I wanted to add a few more to that number.
I was only looking for very easy recipes as I was a little late in preparing for this theme. I came across this recipe and wanted to try this version of masala peanuts. The author mentions that it is a bar snack in Bangalore that goes well with chilled beer.
I have neither tasted this before nor have I found them in Bangalore but the dish sounded spicy and tangy and I had to try it out.
