This Kachumber|Simple Indian Salad Recipe is such a simple dish and we have been making it at home so often but never thought of posting it here.

We are on the day 7 of #30days30dishes challenge on Instagram and my theme is 30 days of no cook dishes.

So, what’s a no cook challenge without a salad right! And here is the simplest of all salads and it is so good on its own and we even pair this with chapathi / Roti.

Salads are a delight to make when it is simple and does not require too many fancy ingredients. Also I prefer ones that have a couple of ingredients especially those that are always around in the pantry. This salad fits the bill perfectly.

There are many variations to this salad . You can add a medley of chopped vegetables, pome pearls, mint / coriander, season it with cumin powder / pepper powder, the variations are countless.

What I am posting today is a simple and basic version that we make often.
