Ever since I found Buckwheat flour in a store near my place, I have been trying out various recipes with it.

Check out the recipes using buckwheat flour on the blog. You can make everything from snacks to main dishes!

Today morning when I was wondering what to prepare for today’s post, I started to rummage the fridge for inspiration and I found a small unopened pack of buckwheat flour and my joy knew no bounds!

So here is this quick and nutritious Kuttu Ka Dosa recipe that the picky lil eater of the family relished!!!

An instant and nutritious dosa using buckwheat flour.

Course: Breakfast
Cuisine: Indian
Ingredients
  • 1 cup Buckwheat flour
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup Finely chopped Onions
  • A handful Chopped Coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
Instructions
  1. Take buckwheat flour and salt in a bowl and mix well.

  2. Add buttermilk and whisk well so that there are no lumps.Add more water if needed. It should be a little thinner that the regular dosa batter.

  3. Put in the onion, coriander leaves.Mix

  4. Pour a ladle full of batter in a heated griddle and make dosas.

  5. Flip and cook on the other side too.

  6. Serve hot with a side of your choice

Recipe Notes
  • Mix before making each dosa so that the flour does not settle to the bottom
  • You can skip onions and coriander too.
