Banana Rasayana! The name itself is so rhyming! This simple recipe is something I made a long while back but the memory of this dish dates back to my childhood.
Mom used to make this as an after school snack and I used to love the way it was served!
A few years back, I saw this dish ,not sure if it was in a blog or a cookbook, and I was taken back to my childhood. I made this for the kids and they loved the idea of serving bananas this way.
So here is a simple Banana Rasayana Recipe that kids will love , there is no cooking involved,just three ingredients and gets done in a jiffy. In fact kids can even make it themselves!

Here is how to prepare this easy no cook Banana Rasayana Recipe
Take the banana slices in a bowl. Add sweetener. Add chilled coconut milk.Mix. Serve!
Sprinkle a little cane sugar on top and enjoy a chilled bowl of this deliciousness!
Note:
- Tastes best when served chilled.
- I used homemade thick coconut milk.You can use any milk of your choice
- Sweetener also depends on your choice. I have used cane sugar [Karumbu sakkarai]
- Chopped nuts, dried fruits can be added.
A simple no cook three ingredient Dessert / Snack
- 2 numbers Banana , thinly sliced
- 2 teaspoons Cane Sugar
- 200 ml Thick coconut milk

Take the sliced banana in a bowl

Interesting recipe and like the use of cane sugar. Gives the dish a nice color and an exotic pudding like appearance.
This sounds super interesting! We also make something similar but with some chopped shallots too especially for Eid… Reminds me of that, but this is far more easier…
Quite a good combination there – banana and coconut milk. And such a super quick fix for sweet cravings!
I made the mango rasayana and my daughter loved it. Banana version also sounds absolutely yum. Will try this soon for Sruti.

I remember it having with milk, as people hardly used coconut milk in North India when we were kids. Very easy and nutritious and delcious too.
